Hon Elizabeth Aipira was born on 28^th April, 1959. She comes from Mvumba Village in Monkey Bay Southern Malawi. She is Member of Parliament for Mangochi West Constituency. 

She has a diploma in Business Administration and a Diploma in Secretarial Management from the Malawi Polytechnic, a constituent college of the University of Malawi.

Hon Aipira is an entrepreneur and owns a Business Education College, (Blantyre)  Tamanda creations (fashion Designers), Front Trading to general Dealers, Mvumba Investments and SET Research International.

She was elected to the Malawi National Assembly on 20^th May, 2004 and appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture.

Hon. Aipira is married with two children.

Her hobbies include fashion designing, tailoring and embroidery, interior decoration.
