Hon. Faiti holds an MSc degree in Social Development Planning and Management), BSoc (Hons); B.Ed; Dip.Ed. and a Diploma in Leadership.
He has worked as Secondary School Teacher; Training Specialist. Deputy Executive Secretary and Executive Secretary of the Council for Non-Governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA). Senior Program Officer and Deputy Project Manager for National Initiative for Civic Education – A GTZ civic Education program in Malawi.
Hon Faiti was elected to the Malawi National Assembly on 20th May, 2004 and appointed Minister of Economic Planning and Development in June, 2004.
