Hon. Dr Hetherwick Ntaba, OBE, was born on 28th October 1943 in Lilongwe, central Malawi.
· Hon Ntaba is a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), Edinburgh University, Scotland. He also holds a Medical Degree from Temple University, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton University, New York, United States of America.
· He served in various senior positions including Chief of Health services, Surgical specialist, Personal Physician to Malawi's first Head of State.
He joined politics in 1990 and served as Minister of Health, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Energy and Mining.
