Hon. John Khumbo Chirwa was born on February 10, 1952. He comes from Chintheche in Nkhatabay, northern Malawi. He is Member of Parliament for Nkhatabay South Constituency.
Hon Khumbo Chirwa is a qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic. He holds an advanced certificate from Lilongwe Technical College where he graduated in 1976.
He joined politics in 1999 and was elected Member of Parliament in 2004.
He is married and has six children.
